AFRODİSYAS ADDITIONAL MUSEUM

The total covered area of ​​the project, located in Aydın's Geyre district, is 1,000 m².

The city of Aphrodisias, the capital of Karya, is the most important sculpture school of the ancient age.

The sculptures excavated are exhibited in the museum located in the same place.

In 2007, an additional museum building was designed and built next to the existing museum.

The structure is supported by steel legs placed on piles.

General lighting with daylight is provided in the museum where energy efficiency is prioritized,

The sculptures were illuminated locally with point light sources.
