DTSX1 sends a laser through a fiber optic cable and reads its reflection, measuring the temperature at every point along the cable at 1 meter intervals. This way, a single cable works like thousands of individual sensors, detecting the exact temperature value and precise location.
If the fiber optic cable is damaged, it can be repaired without needing to be fully replaced. DTSX1 can monitor up to 16 km per channel and up to 4 channels in total, covering up to 64 km of fiber optic cable from a single unit. With its resettable line feature, it can be reset after an alarm is triggered without needing to replace the sensor.
On each channel, it can simultaneously detect maximum temperature threshold, hot spots, and rate of rise. Since detection and alarm processing are automatic for each channel, the system reduces dependence on manual monitoring and lowers the risk of human error.
DTSX1 combines detection, alarm processing, and display in a single unit, reducing engineering time and installation complexity. The installation of a single fiber optic sensor cable enables fast and accurate temperature detection across a wide area.

- Cable trays, metro and road tunnels, conveyor belts, and air ducts: Along these linear routes, it detects heat build-up along the fiber optic cable, identifies the exact location of abnormal temperature rise, and enables intervention before a fire occurs.
- Warehouses and indoor car parks: In these large enclosed spaces, it monitors the entire area with a single cable instead of multiple point-type detectors, providing early warning.
- Furnaces, reactors, and storage tanks: Mounted on the outer surface, it performs hot spot detection and deterioration monitoring.
- Solar panels: Mounted on the underside of each panel, it detects abnormal heat that may occur and identifies its location.
