Next Generation SIL Certified Warning Signals from E2S

Ensuring that an alarm device will operate when needed in hazardous areas is a fundamental requirement of safety systems. The E2S product range includes a new generation of SIL1 and SIL2 compliant warning devices that make this assurance a standard.

SIL certificate is an international standard that defines the operational reliability of a safety device at a critical moment. SIL1 and SIL2 are compliance levels frequently required in petrochemical, gas, and industrial facilities. Previously, many devices could only reach these levels through two parallel devices operating together. This led to additional costs and complex installations.

The D1x, GNEx, STEx, AlertAlarm and AlertAlight products manufactured by E2S are now produced as SIL1 and SIL2 compliant as standard, without requiring additional configuration. This eliminates the need for a second device, simplifying system design and reducing installation costs. Compliance has been verified by an independent body in accordance with the IEC 61508 standard.

Sirens, beacons, buttons and combined beacon-sirens all meet SIL standards, ensuring safety can be provided at every point in a facility, particularly in areas with explosion risk.
