SIL certificate is an international standard that defines the operational reliability of a safety device at a critical moment. Previously, many devices could only reach these levels through two parallel devices operating together. This led to additional costs and complex installations.
The D1x, GNEx, STEx, AlertAlarm and AlertAlight products manufactured by E2S are now produced as SIL1 and SIL2 compliant as standard, without requiring additional configuration. This eliminates the need for a second device, simplifying system design and reducing installation costs. Compliance has been verified by an independent body in accordance with the IEC 61508 standard.
