As the first and only MV Soft Starter manufacturer in Türkiye; The project was designed for İSKİ Beşyüzevler Pumping Station, considering the start-up of MV pump motors, including a separate power factor system for each motor.
In the facility, there are two 6,3 kV-560 kW-62 A pump motors and two 6,3 kV-450 kW-50 A pump motors.
When each motor is started, its own power factor system is also activated in the Igel brand MV soft starter panel to which it is connected.
For each motor, there are four 6,3 kV – 220 kVAR compensation panels are included.
Our aim is to have the power factor system individually activated for each MV motor that is desired to operate within the facility, without consuming reactive power and taken to the desired cos φ value.
Since the system is designed with the MV soft starter, it has a compact structure. Therefore, it takes up less space in the panel room and savings are made in cable-wiring Works.
